My name is Maria Leppingwell. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. Since moving to the United States at fifteen, I have lived in New York and Florida. Now I am living in Hendersonville North Carolina and have been on and off for thirty years. My professional career was in Marketing, Graphic Arts and Advertising.

From a young age, I was enchanted by the world of art and its influence on people. When I create an impressionistic piece, is fascinating to observe someone trying to understand the essence of the piece. When this happens is like “magic”.
