I was an elementary art teacher for three years and loved it. It helped me to see how therapeutic it was for most students; however, it did give some anxiety. I feel the anxiety crept in mainly due because they either strived too hard for perfection or they were too left brained. With that being said, I feel anyone can create something that expresses their imagination. Minimal art is something I naturally gravitate. One of the reasons why I love children’s art so much is because of the simplicity of it. Less is more in my book!

I’m also a true believer that art is good for brain balance. More importantly, I truly believe art can heal the heart.
