Professional Biography of Lisa Koller

Lisa Koller is a dedicated professional with a rich background in human services, mental health counseling, and community support. Professional Experience:

Brevard CARES/Family Partnerships of Central Florida (2023-24) As a Parenting Coach at an advanced level, Lisa works with the “Parenting with Love and Limits,” an evidence-based therapeutic parenting program. Her role involves providing guidance and support to parents and teens, helping them to navigate the challenges of life. In her role as a Parenting Coach, she provides intensive in-home therapy and classroom education. Her work focuses on supporting families and improving their dynamics through therapeutic interventions.

Collier County (2019-2020) Lisa served as the Director of Volunteers, where she was responsible for recruiting and managing volunteers. She also worked as a Grants Specialist ensuring compliance with various grants.

Florida Department of Health (Summer 2020) During the COVID-19 pandemic, Lisa played a crucial role in interviewing patients with active COVID-19.

Family Leadership Training Institute (2018-2019) As a Family Leader and participant, Lisa was involved in civic design teams and alumni activities, contributing to community leadership and development.

Arapahoe County Community Support Services (2014-2019) Lisa’s role in Special Projects and Grants involved creating and facilitating workshops and programming focused on self-sufficiency, employment, education, housing, and family engagement. She also managed casework, recruitment, and enrollment. As an Eligibility Specialist, Lisa conducted intensive interviews to determine eligibility for public assistance programs such as Medicaid, SNAP, and long-term care. She also facilitated outside referrals to ensure comprehensive support for clients.

Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (2013) Lisa progressed from Tech I to Tech II, evaluating, processing, researching, and approving medical licenses.

Third Way Center for Youth (2004-2005) Lisa served as a Mental Health Counselor, providing case management, crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and group therapy.

Arapahoe House (2003) As an Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Counselor, Lisa taught drug and alcohol education classes, facilitated group therapy, and managed admissions.

Certifications and Core Skills Lisa holds certifications as a Group Facilitator, FEMA. Her skills include program development, clinical skills, case management, grant management, civic leadership, customer service, budget management, database management, crisis intervention, motivational interviewing, and experience working with diverse and resistant populations.
