Dr. Stephanie M. Jackson, commonly known as “Dr. Jacks,” is a Creative Chiropractor, Master Educator, and Health and Wellness Advocate Coach.

Dr. Jacks graduated from Life University in Marietta, Georgia in September 2020, at the age of 50, with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree.

By deciding to become a chiropractor, Dr. Jacks altered the direction and, eventually, the route of her life. Before choosing to change careers, Dr. Jacks taught high school history and worked as an adjunct professor.

Dr. Jacks entered the chiropractic program at the age of 43 as a full-time student and mother, when most individuals her age are well established in their occupations and approaching retirement.

Dr. Jacks was determined to accomplish what she had begun, despite her negative self-talk and worries about returning to school after so many years. It took her seven years to finish the curriculum and graduate, but she never gave up. When she was studying and taking tests, so were her children. She frequently joked to her close friends and family, “Everyone in my home is at school, including the dogs.” Her daughter was a Spelman College freshman and her son was in the sixth grade when she relocated to Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. Jacks and her family stayed devoted to achieving their goal of graduating in 2020 despite the hurdles posed by the worldwide pandemic of the year 2020. All three were able to reach their objective, graduating in 2020.

“Despite appearances, it is NEVER too late to attain your ambitions” was the conviction and slogan that sustained her faith throughout the years.
