My name is Victoria Vera. I was raised in Puerto Rico “La Isla del Encanto”. I loved growing there because I was surrounded by nature, mountains, trees, flowers, rivers, and in the morning that beautiful blanket of mist. I’m in love with my Island, especially with my home town called Aibonito. It is recognized as the town of flowers. Every year there is a flower festival that brings many into this beautiful majestic mountain. The people are humble and hospitable toward all.  My mother is a chemical engineer. She regularly organized cleaning campaigns and other events that geared toward protecting and loving nature. She also loves to create natural concoctions and showed us to appreciate  herbs and their essential oils. I also grew up learning about the Creator and developing a close relationship with Him. I now see Him as a loving Father who made everything so beautiful and so intelligently for us to explore, enjoy and benefit from. I’m grateful. After much prayer and communication with Creator trying to identify a path for me that could fulfill me and allow me to add value to the world I came across the thought of flowers, then medicinal flowers and plants, then herbal medicine and now Naturopathy.  I resonate with this as what I feel most identified with is with Compassion. That sense of feeling someone else’s joy and pain. Today I embark on this learning journey filled with endless theoretical and practical knowledge and I am just in love. In love with my beautiful great God and Creator who was so thoughtful and intentional with everything He made, and in love with His creation.
