I have spent most of my adult life as a business woman. When 2020 came around, and I lost my sweet Momma to covid, and all the colors drained out of my world. All I could see was sepia. After 9 months, I started playing with the grandkid’s watercolors. I was hooked. I carried crayons, markers, pencils and paints in my purse everywhere I went. Taking care of my Daddy, including doctor visits every week, I kept the colors close, as they became a lifeline to me.

I have since then lost my Daddy, but began making cards for people as symbols of encouragement. My mailbox flag is up nearly every day.  I get up early and paint while praying for others. That gives me joy!
