I’ve worn many hats in my life. I grew up top of the class and an all-star athlete. I received a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences (bio-psych). I went on to train as a substance abuse/mental health counselor, but found myself going through burnout after 3 years. I packed up my life and moved to South Korea where I was a teacher for almost a decade. I fell in love with the culture and their approach to life and medicine. Once returning to the US, I decided to attempt using my degree again, but in a different way – Probation and Parole. I still feel nature calling me and the need to apply it’s teachings as much as I can to my life and those around me.
