Hello everyone! My name is Sarah Fravel. My last name is pronounced to rhyme with navel. I’m in my second half of life and reinventing myself! I have been married for 32 years to my husband, David. Together we have lived all over the United States. We have two emerging adult kiddos. Our son just turned 29, and our daughter just turned 25; no grandchildren.

I have been a spiritual care provider for many years, serving in various ways in my community. Most recently I was privileged to provide spiritual care in a pediatric setting. I just finished a 15-month residency in spiritual care at the top pediatric hospital in North America. Art has always been my personal method of soul care. I have been very curious about how I might add art therapy into my spiritual care repertoire. I am hopeful that this course will help me figure that out. I also hope this course will provide me personally with some much needed soul care after my intense experience in residency. Looking forward to journeying with you.
