After training in Theatre Arts Performance so that I could write plays I became a Playwright and Drama Director in the 1980’s touring my first play as a Theatre in Education. I loved working in Community Arts especially and going into schools, tutoring tutors etc. After a successful career out in the world I returned to work from home when my late daughter became terminally ill and returned home with my now grown up granddaughter for help and support. The creative arts never give you up, thank heavens, so I turned my pen to writing books and online works. Over my long experiences of working with people it was so wonderful to watch how all of the creative arts had a positive effect on participants and since, more recently, how through my own life creative arts have helped me to keep my sanity. The courses I am undertaken her at Scholistic will help me to expand my knowledge in a helpful direction thereby enabling me to help others, particularly those who suffer deep grief from the loss of their loved ones.

I have a few books published and have written 40+ plays. After retiring from the most physical aspects of Drama due to ill health, I returned to running writing groups and art groups recently and am currently expanding my skills in art therapies.
