My journey with paper made by hand began with kozo fiber in 1989. Since then my work with paper and sculpture has varied from light fixtures to stone carving and three-dimensional fiber sculpture.

Making and the merging of art and life has guided me to develope a relationship with materials that capture my imagination. My work attempts to translate the inspiration that emerges from living alongside wild landscapes integrating concepts of the ethereal journey, motherhood, vacancy, loss, renewal and how emotional responses can evoke beauty.

I’m a member of IAPMA (International Association of Papermakers & Paper Artists), Surface Design Association, Hand Papermaking Magazine and the New Mexico Women in the Arts.
