I have found solace and a sense of belonging within the walls of my art studio in Washington DC. Painting became my refuge during the challenging times of the COVID lockdown, offering me a therapeutic escape to a better world.

With each brushstroke, I poured my emotions onto the canvas, weaving together memories from my childhood, my spiritual beliefs, and my inner sense of security and feminine strength. My artwork also delves into the biases that surround us, exploring the complexities of our thoughts and perceptions. My paintings are characterized by their large scale. Rather than relying solely on brushes, I prefer to explore various objects as tools for my artistic expression. Through the use of materials such as sand, glass, tree skin, gold, and silver sheets, I aim to convey not only colors but also textures that evoke and communicate my emotions.

Every piece I create holds a profound story and carries a name that captures the essence of the emotion I aimed to convey. Through my art, I seek to share these narratives and touch the hearts of those who engage with my work.

My signature, “۲۳,” represents the numerical spelling of my first name in Persian, without any diacritics. It symbolizes my personal identity and serves as a reminder of the rich cultural heritage that influences my artistic expression.
