Hi, my name is Diane Peters, I am a 66 year old mom of 7 grown children. I did foster care for 40 children over 17 years.

I have been painting for the last 10-15 years, I am self taught. I was asked early on if I would do social painting classes, and I love them. I started out learning acrylic painting and moved to include watercolor about 4 years ago. I do try to sell what I make or I would outgrow my house quickly.

With my social painting classes the possibilities are endless. You get to pick out a picture you’ve seen anywhere including online and I, Diane Peters, will provide you with the canvas, paint, and all other supplies including guidance to turn your vision into a work of art. These are not a cookie-cutter paint and sip event. Everyone will go home with a unique painting they picked and made themselves. My theory is, everyone can paint if you know basic shapes

I’ve decided I would like to try art therapy for those who have a hard time expressing themselves.
