Trained as a hairsylist at 16. Appenticeship for 5 years-2 years in college. Worked in salons for 7 years before self employment until 1992- up to 2000 I was at home with my children.  Did volantary work in son’s nursery setting. Applied for  a part time support role in reception class 1:1 SEN.  Three years later I took a full time position as a class based TA in the adjoining junior school.  Gathered qualifications- GCSE maths, english and science. Enrolled at St Marys uni, Twickenham.Left 3 years later with 2:1 batchelor degree. Spent 1 further year on work based Post grad teaching course. Qualified 2011.  Moved on to another school Sept 2017 for 2 years, then joined the Eden academy school for children with ASD.

Christmas 2023 left to join the sister school- Sunshine house where I teach PLMD/complex needs children.
