* Kenneth Caldwell is a well-known and well-respected Northside artist. Kenneth Caldwell focuses on creating contemporary art influenced by the Harlem Renaissance, the Black Arts Movement, and Hip Hop. Using acrylic, oil, pastels and mixed media, Kenneth creates images that reflect people, music, and emotions. A Minneapolis native, he started his career in the field of visual arts as a young student attending North High School. Kenneth has a distinctive artistic style that incorporates his love of music into art. Today he teaches art at Emily O. Goodridge-Grey Charter School.
As an artist, master carpenter, and teacher, Kenneth continues to create work that inspires others. His work has been featured with Soul on Ice (People’s Choice Award winner), and shown at Salon 300-Hopkins Center for the Arts, the Fair School, Bean Scene Coffee Shop, Center for Independent Artists, Fallout Art Fest, Augsburg College, Red Dog Café, Northeast Minneapolis Art Crawl and art shows all over the country.
