I qualified as a Nursery nurse in 1979. I worked for Social services Day nursery for 7 years .

I managed a playgroup for students with young children, accessing Morning study courses at college.
From there I had my own family and went in to work in primary school as a TA then HLTA.

I then worked for Surestart as a Link  worker .
Then trained to be a parent support advisor .

After being made redundant – I returned to primary education as part of Pastoral support team .
This enabled me to work with children and parents using holistic interventions :

to support and help remove barriers to learning.

During that time I raised three sons now young men ( with th support of my husband and parents) – who I am extremely proud of .

I have recently retired and support my husband delivering art classes and workshops.
