I have worked with children/young adults for most of my life. Teaching is just a part of me. I have worked with young adults coaching gymnastics, teaching dance and directing theater for many years. Working in the elementary school, I have worked with struggling readers and at risk students.

My interest in Art Therapy began as a personal journey. My daughter, who will soon be 25 years old, has struggled for many years. She has been diagnosed with Anorexia, Borderline Personality Disorder, Anxiety, Depression and Suicidal Ideation.  She has been in and out of facilities for the 12 years.  She continues on her path and I do my best to be whatever she needs me to be at that moment.  Naturally, mental health has become a focal point in my life.
