Biography

Biography

Stephanie graduated from the University of Toronto in 2022 with a Masters of Theological Studies degree. During her time at St. Mike’s Stephanie served first as co chair and then chair of the Student Life Committee. While chair, Stephanie led the transition to shared duties and responsibilities between the student councils of St. Michael’s and Regis colleges during the historic, forward-thinking time of their union.

Stephanie was able to study for the MTS while simultaneously maintaining full time employment as an educator with a Catholic board. Here, Stephanie found in person and on-line classes at St Mikes of game-changing impact as they provided a very wide platform of course options and times.

Stephanie took her studies seriously as the intended outcome and application focused on helping others and creating a more equitable society. Her Master’s thesis, High School Hardships and Matters of Faith : Supporting teens through pastoral care, currently serves as her guidebook through the reality that students, staff and parents today require spiritual support as much as mental health and educational supports. The MTS at St Mike’s has provided Stephanie with a requisite deep and highly practical foundation for her cutting edge outreach.

Stephanie is currently entering into a new enterprise with a fellow teacher/artist. Together
the team hopes to foster artistic expression through prayer and meditative reflection in a novel approach to healing and peace-making. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys traveling. She seeks out natural vistas and art wherever it can be found as sources of inspiration her spiritual and professional life. She enjoys reading, spending time with her family and cherished group of friends and colleagues.
