My name is Lejla.

I am a Pharmacist with extensive experience across all areas of pharmacy, currently specialising in compounding. My primary focus is on problem-solving for patients by providing tailored solutions to their healthcare needs, integrating holistic and alternative medicine, including nutrition, herbal remedies, and biohacking. I see myself as a bridge, helping individuals optimise their health and become the best versions of themselves.

I hold a Bachelor of Medical Science and a Master of Pharmacy, both from the University of Technology, Sydney. My academic journey includes various research projects on cancer tissue biomechanics and prescribing practices in aged care facilities in Australia. After completing my pharmacy internship in community pharmacy, I worked as a retail pharmacist in Lismore South, collaborating closely with nurses and naturopaths to serve our local community. I later managed a retail pharmacy in Sydney and worked as an independent reviewer, focusing on medication reviews and assessing the prescribing practices and outcomes of opioid medications, benzodiazepines, and other psychotropic drugs.

While I found fulfilment in my pharmacy career, I recognized a misalignment in my practice. This realisation propelled me to expand my knowledge of nutrition and naturopathy to better serve my community. My motivation stems from a desire to instigate positive change as well as personal experience with multiple autoimmune conditions; through an integrative and holistic approach, I achieved remission and regained my life. This transformation allows me to engage in my passions, such as painting, dancing, sports, yoga, and Pilates.
