My name is Alta Briggs, I recently graduated Magna Cum Laude from National University earning my MA in Counseling Psychology. I completed my undergraduate studies in 2021 at CSU Sacramento, earning my BA in Psychology with honors. I currently am practicing as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #146027) under supervision in a private practice setting. I have experience working in a non-profit agency as a MFT Trainee providing counseling to people of all ages and needs. My special focuses include working with children utilizing art therapy and play therapy, helping adolescents navigate anxiety, depression, happiness, and life path exploration, as well as processing grief at any stage of life.

I utilize an integrative approach drawing primarily from person-centered, strength-based, and solution-focused modalities to help support clients in advocating for their own healing and growth.
