My name is Rawan Bouvier:) I have always been a part of the healthcare profession, whether it be from family members or from my own experience working in the hospital. As I worked through the pandemic, I experienced first hand the harsh realities of the medical industry; and because of scarce resources, we were forced to make alternative hand sanitizer, flu medicine, and other endless remedies. These remedies worked beautifully and made me think of how other things can be done without the pharmaceutical industry. By starting to learn herbalism, I learned more about natural health. Meditation and yoga started healing my chronic migraines and reshaping my once pessimistic attitude in life. The only side effect was the yearning to learn more. I am currently rerouting my 5 year career in medicine and want to learn more about natural medicine and the right way to live in this ever changing modern world. As much as it is a challenge, I am looking forward to learning the original way of medicine. Medicine without side effect. Medicine without business. Medicine just for the sake of healing.
