Born in Caracas-Venezuela. Background in Instructional Psychology Working in the field of Social Services since 2008. Currently, at the agency where I work, we are facilitating support groups based on art activities to help our clients with emotional support and personal well-being. All of our clients are immigrants who have experienced trauma. They have little access to mental health services due to the scarcity of them. Therefore, we have made other types of alternative spaces for healing and social interaction available to them. I hope this course will allow me to strengthen and deepen my knowledge and skills regarding activities related to art as a resource supporting our clients to improve their emotional state.
