Growing up, I wanted to be a nurse. I enlisted in the Navy immediately after high school. I worked in Medical. After getting out of the Navy, I got married, had children, then went to nursing school. I worked primarily in Intensive Care Settings – ICU, CCU, MICU, SICU, SVICU, and CVICU. Allopathic medicine has its place, but my heart is in prevention and natural therapies. I got certified as a Functional Nutritional Counselor, Foundational Medicine Specialist and a Certified Functional Nutritional Medicine Practioner. I found this course and decided the information would accent my future practice. Eventually, I see using all of my training as a Medical Missionary if God so blesses.
