Tameka Contee’ is an award-winning international artist , bestselling author, and CEO of Fine Art & Design Firm CONTEE’ CREATION. She is also an appointed Congressional Art Competition Judge since 2015 where she works closely with members of Congress and has served as a keynote speaker. Her career catapulted after nearly being killed in a tragic car crash which she depicts in her novel/memoir “The Minvera Prophecy”. That pivotal moment changed her life forever and art became her universe! Right then she knew her destiny was to give back, by breathing life into her creations. Contee’ began drawing at the tender age of eight. She didn’t know back then art was far more than picking up a paint brush. Experience has taught her that being an artist holds a responsibility to inspire and help move our world into a brand-new era which she hold an immense passion for. She is currently a PHD, scholar with a major in Human Behavior and a specialization in Mental Health, her undergrads is in Psychology. Her affinity and passion for the fine arts and psychology has led her to a great career as a leading art therapist where she is able to assist her patients with navigating through various circumstances.
