Hello! I’m a licensed esthetician of over 5 years and skincare, wellness & holistic practices are my passion. After contracting H. pylori back in 2016 (before I became an esthetician) I had gone over a year before my Dr. finally took me serious that something was wrong with me and finally I was told what was happening. After advocating for myself, having to be on antibiotics and finally getting back to my somewhat normal self, I began taking gut health more serious because my stomach had become so weak. Since then, I always preach the importance of a healthy microbiome both inside the gut and on our skin. Something still felt like it was missing however. In 2023 I really began to become more and more interested in Naturopathic Medicine when one of my friends/clients told me her story about how her having to seek a Naturopathic Doctor because where she was going wouldn’t give her the proper tests or diagnosis her even though she knew what she may possibly have. After going to the NP she was diagnosed with Lymes Disease. From this point on I really began to research and research and felt discouraged because I really wanted to be a part of this community but wasn’t sure if I could or if I wanted to go back to school and become a Naturopathic Doctor. I knew there were two routes to go: become a doctor of a coach/consultant. I didn’t really know how credible it would be to become a coach/consultant and I didn’t know where to even begin to find a certification. Fast forward to today and I found the course I’ve been waiting for from Scholistico. It quite literally fell into my lap. I plan on finishing this course and contacting the practice my client was diagnosed at. Since finding the practice I’ve referred numerous clients so I’m very excited to hopefully get the chance to work with them!
