My name is Tess. I live on the Central Coast of California. I have been a teacher for 27 years, 14 years teaching elementary school and the last 13 years teaching art and ceramics at the high school level. I studied environmental science in college and worked in that field prior to becoming a teacher. I loved art in high school!

I have one son, age 15, and two dogs. My father, age 93, lives in assisted living nearby. I have four siblings that live in the Western United States. Our family loves spending time outdoors and enjoying the beauty of the Central Coast.
