Biography |
I grew up in Europe, from a young elementary age through adult life, where I lived in Maisons-Laffitte NW of Paris and spent earlier years in a village in the northeastern corner of France, called Nancy. We moved to Germany when I was a tween, and lived in the Rheinland Taunus Mountains area and Neu Isenburg, the Offenbach district of Hesse, Germany. This is where I met my husband shortly after High School Graduation while he was stationed at Rhein Main AFB in Germany. We moved to the United States in 1980, where I completed my post high school education and Master’s degree in Mathematics. I taught in the Adirondacks in NY, and I’m state certified in NYS as an Educator in Elementary Disciplines, and Mathematics for grades 6th – 9th. I’m an avid researcher and reader, addicted to pickleball, love kayaking and hiking, an expert downhill skier, casual bicyclist, and an avid world traveler. I’m happily married with one child who lives eight hours south of us with his wife and two amazing children, our loving grandsons! Completing our family, we have a beautiful pup, Greta-Katniss, who is beyond sweet, who has won our hearts forever!
