Graduated in 1990 with a B.F.A in Art History and Studio Art. Minor in English Literature, Music and Religion.  Masters degree in Art and English Education.  Taught for 6 years. Was a nurse for 30 years, a C.S. practitioner for 23 years and an artist since 1980. Love to travel, take photographs, paint, ride horses, write in my free time, read, cook and garden. Love kayaking too. Currently working on this certification in Art Therapy and a P.H.D in Philosophy of Religious studies at Newburgh Seminary. I also have a certificate as an ordained minister. I Love learning and helping people. I’m hoping to start a non profit through this certification to help people through art therapy. I believe Art and music are universal languages that can help to foster self confidence and healing in people’s lives. I’m excited to take this class.
