My name is Sarah and I’m 32. My educational and professional background is rooted in social work, and I hold an MSW with a specialization in Trauma therapy for children and adolescents. I worked in social work for about 10 years before transitioning to being a stay at home mom to my young daughter. I’ve always had a great interest in holistic wellness, and have seen wellness from the perspective of various components working together as opposed to just a focus on fad diets and exercise. Despite this interest, over the years I’ve always had a challenging time finding balance amongst food, movement, spirituality, relationships, intellect, home life, etc., where if my focus was on one component, the others would fall to the back burner. It hasn’t been until more recently that I have really honed in on working on and maintaining the varying aspects of health, and have become inspired to learn more. I’m currently a reiki practitioner and building my reiki practice, and I feel that this education will allow me to further support and assist my clients in achieving their goals.
