Biography |
My name is Carmen Lewis, and I am a Canadian citizen. I am a senior or Lead Pastor for Lighthouse Fellowship Assembly. located in Toronto Canada, and a member of Minister’s Network Canada.
Prior to becoming a Minister of Religion, I worked in the private sectors as secretary, accounts payable clerk, bank reconciliation accounting personnel. In addition, I worked with the Federal Government in the department of Unemployment and Immigration, Revenue Canada, Canada Custom and Excise.
I attended York University (Atkinson college) and participated in long distance learning at Liberty university specializing in a Master’s degree in Professional counselling.
Also, I obtained a bachelor degree in theology from Canada Christian College, a Master of divinity degree in Counselling from Tyndale University College and Seminary, a Supervisory Studies Certificate from Humber College of Applied Art & Technology, and Customs Appraisal Course Certificate.
Furthermore, I served on several community boards: Faith health initiative, as project manager, to equip and train community members about managing hypertension and sexual transmitted diseases. Also, ACCN (African, Canadian Christian Network) a network of partners whose mission is to improve the lives of youth and families. Presently, I serve as the chair for Etobicoke Strategy, a community initiative that brings Faith leaders and Police together to build mutual trust in order to deter the incidences of crime in our community. I am also a member of the Canadian Black Clergies and Allies.
