Currently a military member, as I transition out I am exploring my options and preparing to begin college to pursue a new career. Being in the military has given me a unique perspective on life. It’s shown me first-hand how vital it is to prioritize one’s mental health, along with the detrimental effects on people who do not receive the help they need. I plan to study psychology and mental health counseling to begin my new career.
