Born and raised in a tumultuous environment, I faced numerous challenges during my childhood that shaped my perspective on the world. Despite the hardships I endured, I harbored a deep desire to make a positive impact on the lives of children who were facing similar struggles. This passion led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, with a minor in Art, as I believed in the healing power of creativity and self-expression and new I would pursue art therapy further in my profession.

As I delved into my studies, I discovered the profound impact that art therapy can have on individuals coping with trauma and mental health issues. This realization fueled my determination to continue my education and pursue a Master of Social Work degree, with a focus on trauma and mental health support. I am committed to using my personal experiences and academic background to help children in need navigate their own challenges and find healing through art therapy.

Through my journey, I have learned that resilience and compassion can transform adversity into strength, and I am dedicated to empowering young individuals to overcome their obstacles and thrive. My ultimate goal is to create a safe and nurturing environment where children can express themselves freely and discover their inner resilience.
