My name is Stacy, and I am from SW Wisconsin. I grew up on a dairy farm and currently still reside in SW Wisconsin. I have been a hairstylist for 32 years and I went back to school in 2016 an received my bachelors in Alternative Medicine. I joined this course because I really want to further my knowledge in herbs and healing with herbs. I was diagnosed with late-stage breast cancer in 2012 at the age of 39. I had a bilateral mastectomy, did 6 months of chemo and, 6 weeks of radiation, and took a preventative medication for 10 years and it was after that, when I became interested in herbal remedies. Just this last March I went in for an Xray for a knee that had been bothering me for well over a year. Long story short, I ended up with lesions in my femur that ended up being Metastatic Breast Cancer which is considered Stage 4. So now more than ever, I need to educate myself further. I look forward to being in this course with you all.
