I am a FNP, graduating in 2016. I started my healthcare career as a CNA in 1993. I graduated from LPN school in 1996. I started RN school in 2003, took time off for several years and graduated in 2012. I continued on for my MSN.  I opened my own private practice in 2020, which has grown so much over the past 3 years. I am the only provider in my practice and have 8 staff members that work so well together with all having the same goal in mind; improving the health of our patients.

I provide primary care across the life span and acute care visits. I focus a lot on Functional/Naturopathic therapies and run a weight loss program.  I have a broad range of experience over my years of nursing from skilled facility, LTC, Rehab, Home Health, ICU, Cardiopulmonary, Med surg and Hospice. I feel my experience over the years has gave me the desire to fix the root of the disease and not just focus on the relieving the symptoms. I love helping my patients improve their health, seeing the smile on their face when they come back for bloodwork and see the numbers change.

I am married,  have 3 biological children and 3 step children. I come from a large family of 8 siblings. Grew up in the country, not having much in life but the closeness of my family. There was always at least 5 of us at home and I grew up with a lot of my nieces and nephews.  In my spare time (which is not much!) I love working on the our farm. From running the tractors, brush-hog, making hay, working the garden, building fence and moving the cattle. I love it all!  My favorite hobby is riding my horse Bullet. I have had him since birth, trained him and he is now 14 years old, still as spunky as he was as a foal.  My daughter rides with me. My daughter is also my office manager and lives on our farm. We spend a lot of time together, have a great relationship and without her I could not accomplish what I have with my office. I get to spend time with my grandson everyday as he comes to the office after school and during the summer.  I do not get to see my other 3 grandchildren as much but spend the weekends with them every chance I get. My goal is to expand further with my office by hiring a FNP and opening a second office solely working with Naturopathic Therapies.
