I learned that art therapy focuses on the creative process of making art. And it doesn’t require art skills.

Exactly! You’re right—creative expression is all about the process, not the end product, and no prior art skills are needed. It’s wonderful to see you embracing that mindset and applying it in your daily life. Keep enjoying the journey!

Hi, By profession I am an artist and teach art classes. Art therapy course is helping to find new things which I didn’t learn in my university, like why art and artists in specific periods became noted by world. I am seeing nowadays people are inclined towards making creative work more. Thank you.

I just finished this course, I haven’t applied it professionally yet. I’ve learned self care is the most important to bring the best to the client. It took me 10 months to get through the program, and I am very proud of myself. I took my time, I did the exercises. Did some extra outside reading to help with comprehension. And now I am inspired to compliment this course, to keep learning. Next journey holistic practioner course. You never stop learning its a life long journey.😊

Being a self-taught artist, honestly everything I have learned with art therapy has been extremely helpful to me so far. Just learning to free form art has been a turning point for me because I always sketched my work out beforehand, but taking this course I’ve done a few free form art pieces and love the turn out. I have gained insight too on the different art materials used. Thank you!
