I have just started and am in the process of the art therapy courses. I only wish there were more videos of actual therapists and clients showing hands on experiences. Lots of reading. Could use more real case example studies.

I just started the course in December and it’s very informative, I love it. I also enjoy participating and connecting with other students through discussions, too.

Some things I think that could make the course better are:

    – 1st hand experience videos or examples of people demonstrating how to make or do naturopathic cures would bring a better understanding and show practical use of the material.

    – Reviewing the quiz answers after submitting it to review another day like the final exam.

    – Some tools for the material. For example, highlighting (and/or leaving digital sticky notes) and a “Suggested Course Plan”. I love how you can leave notes at the bottom right now, but you have to scroll all the way down every time. The other thing is, I like going at my own pace but some people who were interested did ask me if there was some kind of weekly schedule to keep them on track. I replied that I can make my own and offer guidance to them on that as I’ve taken online courses before. But I thought I’d take the opportunity to mention that here for people who may feel similar.

I’ve done a lot of trainings, workshops, and certification courses over the course of 10 years. This course certification is incredibly basic. Definitely needs videos of hands on work, more trainings, certainly more indepth course reading. It feels like the same things written out, repeated several times.

I really would like to see the modules given more separated reading material because I feel like no matter what module you are on it just repeats itself. To be a naturopathic practitioner I feel like it needs more depth.

Having done other courses, I do think that for people who are new to holistic health videos showing some practical steps are to be included. People learn in different ways

    Hi Sol,

I’m doing the Art Therapy course, and so far I really enjoy it.

Looking over some of the comments, I agree with some of them, to have a bit more in-depth reading material or video’s. What I really like to see are case studies. In Module 2, we had to make our own ‘session’, which was nice, but I didn’t really know what I was doing, or how to interpret my painting (I did, and it was ok).

Module 3 we need to do a case study, real or imagined. I have lots of questions about the different theories presented. Without practical case studies, or examples it is very difficult to again interpret what we are doing.

I’m an EFT practitioner and trainer, and for the case studies we had to do, we had lots of examples. I guess that is how I learn.

Having said that, I really enjoy it.

      Hi Nora,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the Art Therapy course! It’s great to hear that you’re enjoying it so far. I completely understand your desire for more in-depth materials like videos or case studies. Case studies can be incredibly helpful in providing real-world context and making theories more tangible.

Your experience with Module 2 sounds like a valuable learning process, even though you felt unsure at times. The challenge of interpreting your own painting is a step toward deeper understanding. As for Module 3, I agree that having examples would really help clarify how to apply different theories in practice.

Your background as an EFT practitioner definitely gives you a unique perspective on learning through examples. I hope the course continues to provide insights, and if you ever have questions or need support with anything, don’t hesitate to reach out.😊

I am studying the Holistic Nutrition Course. I am about halfway done and enjoying it. Most of the material is familiar as I have already studied some nutrition courses in college. I would appreciate more pictures, diagrams, charts, etc. to enhance the lessons. Also, there is a lot of repetition in each lesson that could be replaced with more in-depth material.

    Thank you
