I am currently completing my Diploma in « Diplome d’étude supérieure en psychothérapie » which provides me the qualifications to become a registered psychotherapist once all requirements are met through the governing college. I am a white North-American from northern Ontario, Canada and my heritage is a mixture of European descant and Scottish. I am a mother and a partner and a goal chaser. I spent my twenties working in an administrative position for a medical office and soon became passionate of helping others. The opportunity of returning to school presented itself and I started my bachelor degree is psychology in 2019. I am currently working for a non-for profit agency in addictions and mental health but my primary role is working with pregnant and pregnant women who struggle with substance use. My work experience as a psychotherapist intern is in the beginning phases as I complete an internship with a private practice local to my area.
