Biography |
I was born in Concord, CA. I worked with traditional art materials from childhood and won my first Blue Ribbon in 1st grade for my Art colored pencil Drawing. In High School, I took up oil painting. But it was not until 2010 that found the obsession I spend most of my studio time with today, acrylic and silk painting. During my youth growing up in the East Bay Area of San Francisco, I learned to create many things out of what I had around the house.
As a Local artist, I spend my days teaching homeschoolers and afterschool students a variety of art using watercolor, oil, Acrylic paints also drawing and collage, and 3-D art in Orcutt, CA
When I started painting on silk and using the Acrylic pour method, I found there is always a little bit of surprise that happens. That’s the magic of painting because no matter what technique you use, there is a little surprise element to it, which is what I like about it.
I am a self-taught artist with some art workshops and art class influence at a local college, I enjoy teaching and sharing my lifelong experiences of painting and creating with others who would also like to experience these methods of creating art.
