I’m a freelance author and artist. I have a physical disability and use a wheelchair. I love art, and I have been drawing and painting since 2017. I wrote and illustrated a novel in 2018, and it was published in 2019. It is titled “Battle of Troy,” and it is available on Amazon. I have a large family, including three medically complex children. We have a network of friends and acquaintances who also have medically complex children. I have an interest in engaging these young people in therapeutic art experiences. I hope to learn a lot in this course so I can apply it in practice.
