Hi! I’m Aoife-Freya, I’m a mother to 3 little boys +1 on the way (a 5yo, a 4yo, a 2yo) I’m married to a wonderful supportive man, whom we’ve been friends since we were young, we all live in this small town in Ontario, in an old rustic victorian farmhouse where we have a huge green house, some ducks, miniature goats, an alpaca and our 2 fluffy & cuddly dogs.

The love of all-that-is-natural started when I was little girl, I felt an affinity with the wilderness. I listen to the wind as it blows all around me, I love being near water, taking nature walks smelling the sweet white pine trees’ fragrance and having the sun kissing my skin with it’s warm glow. I was told I had one of those ‘old souls’ who have an appreciation of old things like traditional medecine.

Healing is a personal journey for all and mine was no exception. As a little girl with eczema and asthma, my mother would often turn to the advise of naturopaths and natural medicine to help. I remember I would always take my echinacae tincture every morning with my juice and lather on some oatmilk lotion after taking a bath full of epsom salts. As a teenaged girl I had a huge vanity full of creams, balms and salves for personal care, and I was always that person who enjoyed giving back massages or head massages to family and friends (It brings me joy making them feel at ease and relaxed)

My love for herbalism and natural medecines came in my early 20’s from reading this book on herbalism, it spoke to me in a way that clarified every question that was cloudy in my mind. It made sense to me that plants and animals were there for our benefit as a way to heal our natural bodies. Why reach for synthetic medecines when we can reach for a plant that our body know how to break it down easy and directly. Thus I’ve been learning herbalism/homeopathy a little bit at a time and now finaly naturopathy as well.

Things I like to do is sew/crochet (I was a graduate in haute couture/historic sewing previously) and I love nature walks with a picnic with my family by the river, all to do with homesteading, collecting antiques and the love of music (mainly baroque/classical/jazz/60’s-70’s).

I’m excited to get started and help heal others in a “whole-istic” way.
