Biography |
Founder of Patch to Wellness, I’m a dedicated pain relief advisor with a rich and varied background. Born and raised in Alberta, I moved to British Columbia at 13 and returned to Alberta eight years ago with my husband and children.
Initially aspiring to become a K9 officer due to my love for dogs and helping people, my path shifted following a motorcycle accident in October 2000. Despite undergoing 11 surgeries over 9 years, my passion for motorcycles remained strong. The accident led me to a career as a medical transcriptionist, a role I fulfilled from home for about eight years. Seeking more interpersonal interaction, I later worked in a respite facility and a community health unit for the Vancouver Island Health Authority. Eventually I went on to compete in bodybuilding competitions as a figure competitor. This sparked my interest in nutrition.
Fast forward to now, I’d like to further help my clients through nutrition as it’s the foundation we all need. I’m looking forward to meeting like-minded people as I work through these courses.
