Greetings, fellow seekers of truth! My name is Lauren Messick, and I am on a divine mission to heal those who are yearning for true restoration and wholeness. Inspired by the belief that God has placed healing herbs on this earth for our benefit (Genesis 1:29), I am dedicated to becoming a Holistic Health Practitioner, specializing in Neuropathy, Holistic Nutrition, and Herbalism, with a special focus on Hermeneutics. Hermeneutics is the science and the art of biblical interpretation. The historical-grammatical method stresses interpreting Scripture according to its literal sense. This language is helpful so long as we understand that “literal” does not mean flattening out the literary nature of the text.

As I embark on this journey, I carry with me the wisdom of Scripture, which reminds us to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33). I strive to embody the teachings of the Bible, understanding that our true purpose lies in aligning our lives with His will. By embracing joy and truth, we can reflect God’s love and remain anchored in His teachings, guarding our hearts against the temptations of this world (Proverbs 4:23).

Life with Jesus Christ has been a testament to His unwavering presence, guiding me through the trials and tribulations I have faced. As a survivor of profound hardships, including the heartache of an unGodly marriage/ the loss of my previous spouse to suicide, I have felt God’s hand upon me, providing strength and hope when I needed it most. It is through these experiences that I have come to understand the importance of seeking divine purpose within ourselves, trusting in the plan that God has woven into the fabric of our souls.

In a world where many struggle to discern truth from deception, I believe that cultivating discernment—rooted in the guidance of the Holy Spirit—is essential. As stated in John 16:13, “But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth.” This divine guidance empowers us to navigate life’s complexities with clarity, ensuring we remain aligned with God’s purpose.

My journey of faith has been enriched by the love and support of my husband, who, like me, has faced the sorrow of losing a spouse to suicide. Together, we have found healing and hope, celebrating our marriage this year and uniting our passion for Christ as we raise our seven children in a home filled with love, prayer, and a desire to serve others. Our prayers are a testament to our longing for everyone to experience the pure love, mercy, and divine peace that flows from God’s unfailing grace.

As I pursue my calling in holistic health, I am driven by a deep passion for helping others find their healing potential. I pray fervently for all of God’s children to be forgiven of the ways of the flesh and to experience His mercy, welcoming them into His eternal embrace.

My journey is one of faith, resilience, and a deepening love for Christ. I strive to reflect His light in all that I do, armed with the greatest book ever written, as I step into my role as a Faithful Lightbringer and a cheerful warrior in this epic adventure of faith.
