I grew up in a very small town in west Texas.  I was very active in softball and horses in my younger years.  I have one sister who is 8 years to the day younger than me.

I became a nurse in 1997.  I have worked in ER,  med/surg and critical care.  I was a hospital educator at a rehab hospital for 5 years.   I have always been interested in holistic and natural medicine.  I have always known that even though modern medicine is wonderful and is necessary for some disease processes, a natural, holistic approach is far better from the beginning.

My husband and I are currently missionaries in Central America.  I will be doing volunteer work at the clinic in our village.  I would love to incorporate holistic education into the work that I will be doing here.

My husband and I have been married for 27 years and we have one daughter.
