Emma Balaskovitz is a West Michigan–based artist whose work reflects both technical versatility and a deep curiosity about the human experience. She earned her Associate’s degree in Fine Art from Kalamazoo Valley Community College, where she developed a strong foundation across multiple mediums.

Emma’s primary artistic practices include watercolor, Prismacolor pencil, acrylic painting, and block printing. Her pieces often explore emotional depth, using color, texture, and form to express complex inner states.

Beyond her studio work, Emma is passionate about psychology and mental health, and she is especially interested in how art can serve as a bridge for understanding, healing, and communication. This perspective informs both her creative process and the themes she chooses to explore.

In addition to her artistic pursuits, Emma works in the nonprofit sector and is committed to expanding her involvement in humanitarian efforts. She aims to integrate her love for art with meaningful service, using creativity as a tool to support and uplift individuals and communities.
