My name is Evelyn and I am so excited to begin this Naturopathy Practitioner journey! I am a scientist, business owner, fur-mom, Aztec dancer and an all around bad ass! My life took a complete turn when I was diagnosed with stage 3C Invasive Lobular Carcinoma (ILC) at the young age of 33. After following conventional treatment (i.e., 16 rounds chemotherapy, 25 radiation sessions, hormone therapy, double mastectomy and breast reconstruction) I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer three years later at the age of 37. By the second diagnosis knew that I did not want to go down the conventional route and I decided to go integrative! The new approach did function for me, but it was short-lasted. Just six months later I was re-diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer and it has now spread to my bones. But, I am now in the process of incorporating natural approaches in combination with conventional medications and I am ecstatic to announce that my tumor markers are dropping quick and the tumors have shrunk by 90%! I am determined to be that beacon of hope and instill in you that anything is possible when you change your diet, avoid toxins as best as possible, take supplements, release suppressed emotions and all around radically change your lifestyle!
