Biography |
Felicia Rena Moore, an African American, Mississippi Native, relocated to Boston in the summer of 1989. She quickly found a passion for higher learning, earning four college degrees in Massachusetts. Felicia has worked in the Medical Field for over thirty years. She is a Registered Nurse/Business Executive in the Healthcare Industry. She provides health services to some of the most underserved communities in Massachusetts.
As a Licensed Registered Nurse/health professional, Felicia provides specialized health services to the most vulnerable: the elderly and the mentally ill. She explained that her passion for Nursing has not only created a journey to provide healing to others. It encompasses an equal give and take of healing and compassion from others who greatly appreciate health services.
Often, her knowledge and experience as it relates to Nursing and Criminal Justice bridge the gap between communities. Felicia shared that as a mother of three children, they have shown her the importance of unconditional love when it comes to balancing work and home. Her children and immediate family provide her with the strength to pursue her dreams in the healthcare arena.
Felicia described her life journey as intermittently fulfilling and overflowing with an abundance of joy, suspense, trials, and tribulations. Certainly, there are journeys that one may choose not to take. However, as I conduct a self-evaluation, there is very little that I would change. Undoubtedly, Wisdom comes with a few bumps and bruises.
