Dr. Umona L. Sharp is the CEO and founder of Stay Free Ministries, LLC, Stay Free

Today, Inc., and Stay Free Academy. With over 30 years of experience in the fields of

mental health, behavioral health, and chemical dependency, she is a trusted voice and

leader in trauma-informed care and healing-centered engagement.

A passionate author and self-publisher, Dr. Sharp uses her books as teaching tools to

train and equip individuals to become healed life coaches—leaders who are empowered

to bring restoration to their communities.

Dr. Sharp is also a gifted facilitator and organizer of inner healing retreats, seminars,

workshops, and support groups that create safe, transformative spaces for growth and

recovery. Her work is rooted in the belief that true freedom and transformation are

possible for every man, woman, and child.

Dr. Sharp holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Indiana

University and a Master of Arts degree in Christian Counseling from American

Christian College and Seminary. She also holds a Doctorate degree in Christian

Clinical Counseling from Colorado Theological Seminary. She is licensed by the state

of Ohio as a Chemical Dependency Counselor.

She is affiliated with the National Christian Counseling Association as a Pastoral

Clinical Christian Counselor. She is licensed and ordained by the board of Stay Free

Today, Inc and The Turning Pointe Outreach Ministries, LLC as a Minister and

Pastoral Counselor.

Through her lifelong commitment to service, Dr. Sharp continues to help individuals break cycles of trauma, find purpose, and walk in lasting healing.
