My training was overseas, Germany, quite a few years ago. I finished a 4-year study in

1989. I started working part time as an art tutor in a private art school as well as an art therapist in a home with disabled people. My half year practise during the 4-year study was in the children and young people psychiatry in Munich. Once I moved to New Zealand (1994) work opportunities as an art therapist were scares. At least in Nelson. Nobody seemed to know what it is, this is 30 years ago, and things luckily have changed to the better.

I am doing this course as a refresher and hope to gain some new insights too.
