Jennifer Jackson is from Southeast Kentucky- Manchester. I hold a full time job as a Licensed Health and Life Insurance Agent. My passion is to help the senior citizens find affordable coverage.

I love the older generation and I focus primarily on their health and well being. I love holding events and participating in outreach for the community and helping others. It is so rewarding.

In August of 2023 I had a dream and in the dream God was showing me how to paint. In the dream I was laying down in the mountains on the ground and he was taking my hand and showing me how to draw the back of the leaves as I was looking up. I woke up and it felt so real and was sad since it was just a dream, but I have never had the passion to draw or paint. I have never been able to so it was never an interest of mine.

Later that week I dreamed another dream and saw feathers, and crosses and he showed me how to paint them in those dreams as well. So, after waking up, I realized, I wanted to try to do what I saw in that dream. I went to Michaels and got a few supplies and since that day I have continued to learn and grow with my painting hobby.

Painting is the most enjoyable thing I have ever done. It is therapy for me. I am able to paint how I feel and my beliefs and I can even go back to my childhood and want to paint things that I went through. It has been a total healing for me. It is one of those things that I cannot explain. It is just simply amazing how something that I have never had the interest in just appeared in my life and gave me something to look forward to after coming home from a long hard day of work.

It is like I am excited to get home and get supper cooked and clean so I can relax during the evening. I still dream of things and I paint those visions that I have.

I want to move forward in life by helping others to experience the therapy that painting has given me and I want others to experience the same.
