I have an associates in Fine Art, I’ve been a hairdresser since January of 1999 and a salon owner since November of 2008. I love hanging my art in my salon! Some of it is my own creation, some of it is from teaching classes at Pinot’s Palette, which I have done since October 2022. I’ve found through art a way of expressing oneself…telling a story. If there are emotions inside, good or bad, art can be a way of communicating those feelings and putting them into a painting or a craft or anything else instead of carrying it inside. And the amount of information you can learn about yourself is surprising.
Like exercise, slow and steady wins the race. Learn to be patient with yourself and it can be so rewarding to look back and see all that you’ve accomplished. That’s what I believe.
