Welcome

My name is Julia. Art is my Joy, my therapy, my livelihood and my understanding.  Before my life as a physically disabled single parent, I worked in community development and lead many projects into wellness, community murals, art classes, meditation classes, positive photography sessions and cooking classes. I enjoyed every minute. Helping newcomers and women in crisis was unbelievably fulfilling. As my disease progressed, I found myself leaning on the joy of giving through art, and during my own crisis, expressing difficult emotions, and finding comfort in the creative process.  This is my life, the way I support my children and meet our needs, and it is a healing journey to rebuilding a life decimated in adversity, marital breakdown and physical decline.  Pleasure in the pain. Success in a life I love very much.
